Catch A Lift Fund
On October 3, 2022, members from J&J’s operations teams at Aberdeen Public Health Center – Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases – Ft. Detrick, MD, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center – Bethesda, MD were honored to join other members of the community for the Catch A Lift Fund’s (CAL) 4th Annual Baltimore Golf Outing.
J&J was a proud sponsor of the fundraiser, which raised nearly $185,000 towards serving veterans entering the CAL program in 2023. Our team had the opportunity to listen as numerous veterans talked about their service to our country, sharing the day to day struggles our service men and women face following their service, and the positive impacts the CAL program has had in their lives. Their testimonials touched us all, leaving us truly thankful for their sacrifices, and inspired by their journeys.
About CAL: Catch A Lift Fund has helped thousands of post 9/11 combat injured veterans regain their mental and physical health through gym memberships, in home gym equipment, personalized fitness and nutrition programs and a peer support network.
